Now what in store for us...

We had a date with a friend to catch prawns, were a bit late...missed out

We have almost finished all that we have planed in Cairns. Our head sail has new UV lining, auto pilot is happy and so are we,the generator is working well, the bottom of the boat is protected with anti-foul, the hull is polished and very spunky, the rig(the mast) has been tightened and we now also have all cotton hand made net to keep us safe from anything that bites. We feel ready. The boat should be back in water lunchtime tomorrow.
After a final check of trough hole fittings by a shipwright when Cognac is in water to make sure that there are no leaks we will leave Cairns for our next stop.We will leave Cairns as soon as possible and wait at Lower Isles for hi tide at 6am to enter Port Douglas where we will stop for couple of days to pick up spinnaker pole ( spinnaker is a special type of brightly coloured sail also called kite).
This are our future plans.

We have about 45 days until June 23rd when we are expected in Darwin in Bayview Marina. We have over 1800km and 27 stops.
